Fischoff’s S.A.M. I Am (Stories & Music) with Amo Brass @ St. Joe County Public Library
Fischoff’s S.A.M. I Am, Stories & Music program, reinforces the joy of reading through the power of music. Using music to crack open language and storytelling, Fischoff Educator Award Winner Amo Brass will delight children and families with a musical adventure. Based upon Giles Andreae’s story, join the fun as Gerald the giraffe finds his signature dance moves with the help of his new friend, Cricket. Dust off your boogie shoes as we tango, cha-cha, waltz, reel, and rock out to this family favorite book! ASL interpretation will be provided. Join us after the show for hands-on activities, including a visit by a surprise ambassador animal from the Potawatomi Zoo!
11:00 AM: Free, all ages performance in Leighton Auditorium
12:00 PM: Hands-on activities, book giveaway, and meet-and-greet in the Community Center Ballroom
This Fischoff Arts-in-Education Residency performance is generously made possible by lead sponsor, Shein Trust, and in part with support from the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County.
