Winter Solstice family lantern workshop

Join CoCreate artists for a 1 hour workshop where we'll be making simple lanterns, ready to light our way in the procession to the fireside storytelling at 4pm.

This workshop suitable for younger children, accompanied and supervised by an adult, and a lovely way to ease into the holiday season together.

The workshop ends at 3.30pm. Stay and join us at 4pm to process with your lantern to our fireside story circle in the woods where we'll hear original and folk stories. The event will end around 5pm. You are welcome to stay longer however, and might like to bring marshmallows or similar to toast over the fire.

Please be aware the storytelling takes place after dusk, and the woodland is unlit. We'll provide an electric tea light, but do bring torches to boost your lantern's light, and dress warmly.
