Missing the sunshine? We're starting the shortest day of the year off right by rising with the sun during our solstice yoga session. This will be an opportunity to connect with cosmos and embrace reflection and renewal! This gentle yoga session welcomes individuals with all abilities and skill levels. Post yoga, we'll enjoy an archeoastronomy talk from astronomer Naomi Pequette about ancient cultures and how people around the world built monuments, like Stonehenge, aligned cosmic cycles. Guests will have a chance to learn and participate in a Q&A with Naomi after the session. If yoga isn't your thing, you're welcome to sleep in and join us a bit later to start your day with Naomi!
This event does not include general admission to DMNS, and folks wanting to stay and explore will need to purchase GA at the front of the museum after the event.
