With so much conflicting information out there it can be hard to know where to start when improving the energy efficiency of your home. Fortunately, local charity Marches Energy Agency has set up Future Ready Homes, an impartial independent advice service.

Is a heat pump suitable for a Victorian home? What sort of insulation should be used, and where? Is it possible to install solar PV on roofs in a Conservation Area? How do I avoid having mould and damp in my home? These questions and more will be addressed by Tony and Ben, the retrofit experts from Future Ready Homes.

This event is your opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence in your retrofit decisions, and to connect with others who are on the same journey. There will be a specific focus on the Victorian homes so common in Shrewsbury, but all are most welcome. There will be plenty of time for your questions and discussion.
