Kick start the school holidays with a bang! 💥 Round up your whānau and join us for the Winter Fireworks Spectacular set to your fave 80s bangers.🎶 Proudly produced by Christchurch City Council, Winter Fireworks Spectacular will deliver a cracker fireworks display set to your favourite 80s bangers featuring iconic hits by Queen, Whitney Houston, Bon Jovi, Talking Heads and more.
A huge thanks to Firework Professionals for putting on the show and to The Hits, Youth Hub and Crowne Plaza for their support of the Winter Fireworks Spectacular. 🤩
Choose from a great selection of kai from the local vendors onsite. Check out the North Carpark for some pre fireworks family entertainment with DJZ will be providing the tunes!
If bad weather forces the postponement of the fireworks, it will be announced via the What's On Facebook page, What's On Facebook/Instagram page and via The Hits.
The call to cancel may not be made until just before the fireworks start at 7.30pm. The postponement date is Sunday 7 July.
