Winter expedition course, 1-3 March.During 3 days, we throw ourselves into a snowy Norwegian mountain plateau to measure strength with nature equipped with a compass, shovel and tents in our pulka sleds.
The course will be organised as a mini expedition where we will learn skills, test equipment, explore beautiful scenery & return with vital snow-how, charged batteries and unique experiences.
Aside from enjoying the beauty of snow and winter on a Norwegian mountain plateau, participants will learn skills including:
Trip planning
Packing backpacks and sledge
Camping in snow
Cooking in tents
Navigation
Risk assessment
Snow holes and emergency bivouacs
First aid.
We spend two nights wild camping as part of our winter trekking course. On request, tents and equipment can be rented. The course will require you to engage in physical activity for 4-6 hours outside in winter cold. For group discussions, meals, and socializing, there is a large tent with a woodstove.
The course fee is 4000 NOK (pulka, tent & home-made expedition meals included)

12 december we organise a webinar. The webinar fee is 1250 NOK. When you sign up for the winter expedition course, we’ll deduct the webinar fee from your course fee.
