$25 adult/$20 studentExperience the brilliance of modern and classical ballet from five iconic choreographers in this extraordinary program, featuring works by some of the most iconic creators in dance.
Martha Graham’s Dark Meadow Suite, drawn from her 1946 masterpiece Dark Meadow, showcases some of her most architectural, ritualistic, and profound creations. French choreographer and former Graham principal dancer Pascal Rioult reimagines Maurice Ravel’s soaring Bolero, offering audiences a fresh perspective on the timeless score.
Jose Limón’s PSALM, inspired by the Jewish story of “The Righteous,” intertwines mysticism, ritual, and history in a breathtaking work that evokes both anguish and joy. Adding a touch of elegance, George Balanchine’s brilliantly crafted Concerto Barocco is staged by High School Ballet alumna Amanda Edge (opens in new tab), perfectly paired with Johann Sebastian Bach’s iconic “Concerto for Two Violins in D Minor.”
Rounding out the program, faculty members Mikhail Tchoupakov, Jennet Zerbe, and April Ball Sultana, present a restaging of Arthur Saint-Léon’s charming and whimsical Coppélia Suite, set to the music of composer Léo Delibes. You won’t want to miss this unforgettable evening of dance that bridges history, innovation, and artistry.
