Scavenger Hunt & Historical Games
12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Come to the museum for a special new scavenger hunt through the museum exhibits, then join us upstairs in the Gothic Chamber for historical games all afternoon. Try your hand at games from the 18th century or even older, including mancala, shut the box, nine man’s morris, cup & ball, quoits, skittles, and more.

Revolutionary War Board Game

Can you cross Westchester County safely in the midst of the Revolutionary War? Test our brand new board game about Westchester in the Revolution! Work in teams to go around battles, avoid being captured as spies, and make your way safely across the Westchester Neutral Zone. Along the way you’ll meet people and visit places straight from the real Revolution. This is a brand new program created by the educators at Philipse Manor Hall and we need your help to test it!
Game instruction begins at 1:00 PM. This game is suitable for children and adults ages 7+. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Family Movie: Pocahontas (1995)

Enjoy a movie the whole family will love – Disney’s Pocahontas (1995), and have fun with a FREE special activity booklet themed around the movie and the real history behind it. Movie starts at 1:00 PM.
