Winter Bird Photography at Kathryn Albertson Park

Registration is required to attend this event as space is limited. Please make sure ALL fields in the registration form are completed and that a confirmation email is received.

Join Golden Eagle Audubon on a bird photography walk through Kathryn Albertson Park. Field trip leaders will provide advice on camera settings and photo composition, while helping you capture images of birds in a lovely winter setting.

Accessibility: This field trip is wheelchair accessible, and the park offers paved paths throughout.

Birding Skill Level: All levels are welcome, but this trip is best suited to birders with some experience. Please bring your own binoculars.

Age: Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.

Time: 8:30am - 10:30am. Check-in is at 8:20am. Please arrive at check-in so we can start on time.

: We will meet in the parking lot of Kathryn Albertson Park at 1001 S Americana Blvd, Boise, ID 83706. (Click on "Meeting Place" to get directions from your location.)

What to Bring: Your camera, layers for weather, closed-toe shoes, binoculars, a scope if you have one, water, snacks. Telephoto lenses are recommended. No dogs please.

Restroom Availability: Restrooms may be closed for winter.

Special Conditions: Paths may be icy and/or slippery.

Inclement Weather: If there is an unhealthy AQI or steady rain/snow forecast, the trip will be cancelled.
