Who's getting excited for Winter???Join us to help get the Winona Ice Park ready for the 2026 season and work on removing invasive species and restoring the prairie above the park! We appreciate any amount of time anyone can offer as even an hour of work is very helpful. We are also happy to offer free camping and dinner to anyone looking to spend the night in Winona as a thank you for traveling and helping. Areas we will be working on will be: Sugarloaf trail maintenance and erosion mitigation, buckthorn removal, ice park infrastructure set up and maintenance, as well as general labor getting equipment up to the park. We thank all past and future volunteers as it can't happen without your support! We will be meeting at the Sugarloaf trailhead at 9am but anyone can feel free to hike up and find and rec alliance members to get directions on areas of need during the day. Thank you all!
