Wings at Dusk: Evening Bird Photography Experience July 4th 5.30-7.30
Early evenings offer some of the most magical lighting conditions for photography — and the perfect backdrop for birds in flight.
Join us for a truly unforgettable evening as the sun begins to set and the landscape is bathed in warm golden light. One of the highlights of the night is witnessing the silent, graceful flight of a Barn Owl gliding across the meadow at dusk — a breathtaking moment you’ll have the opportunity to capture on camera.
Throughout the session, you’ll enjoy a variety of photographic opportunities, from beautifully composed static shots to dynamic in-flight action. Our centre and surrounding farm provide a rich range of natural and rustic backdrops, including hay barns, open fields, barn doors, willow trees, and even vintage tractors — all carefully used to create stunning, authentic scenes.
As the evening progresses, we’ll fly a range of birds of prey, starting with slower species before building up to faster, more agile flyers. This gives you the chance to develop your technique and capture a diverse collection of images featuring owls, hawks, eagles, and falcons in motion.
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned photographer, this experience offers incredible access, beautiful light, and unforgettable wildlife moments.
