Wine Dinner: Kitchen in the Blue Zones

Join Chef's Table and MySOMM for our first wine dinner of 2026! Our January theme and menu is based off recipes from the Blue Zones - a small collection of regions around the world with low rates of chronic disease and where people live exceptionally long lives, often 100 years or more.

The Blue Zones include Okinawa, Japan; Ikaria, Greece; Sardinia, Italy; Nicoya, Costa Rica; and Loma Linda, California. And in 2023, Singapore was added to this list.

As studied and reported by Dan Buettner and National Geographic researchers, one theme that link these regions is diet. Even wine in moderation - paired with food or social connection - is another common trait. For this dinner, Chef Shane will share his interpretation of five recipes from the Blue Zones with wine pairings by Sommelier David.

This wine dinner includes five courses and five wines. Pricing is all-inclusive of tax, gratuity and Eventbrite fees.
