WINDSOR FREEDOM TRAIL WALKING TOUR 2026
About this Event
Walk along the 3.9 mile route with your friends and family to visit and learn about the seven Windsor Freedom Trail sites. While on this walking tour, you will learn about the rich history of Windsor's Freedom Trail. Visit sites that are connected to African American heritage and the movement towards freedom, including sites associated with the Underground Railroad.
A bus will follow to allow walkers to rest when needed. This event is free and open to the public.
* A free Freedom Trail swag item for participants at check-in.
* A free continental breakfast will be available for all event participants after the walk.

Info: Welcome by Chair of the Windsor Freedom Trail Committee followed by safety instructions by the Windsor Police Department escorts.

Departure / Boarding on Buses
Info: Participants will load busses to be transported to the first historical freedom trail site where the walking tour begins. Please be on time to board the buses as there is no arranged transportation for late arrivals.
