About this Event
Windermere Matzah Ramble
by Regenesis, The Next Generation
The Lake District Holocaust Project Museum Director, Trevor Avery BEM, has kindly agreed to give two private presentations to groups on 16th or 17th April 2025. There are 40 places available for each day.
Trevor has interviewed 40 of the 300 Children who were rehabilitated at Calgarth in his 20 years of curating and archiving this special place of recovery and helping the BBC tell the story of the Windermere Children.
The 16th April is a Family Day (anyone aged 8 and upwards)
The 17th April is an Adults Only (16+) and has a coach option from South Manchester
We will also picnic lakeside (bring your own!) and ramble in the footsteps of the Windermere Children in nearby beauty spots and look-outs before we visit Calgarth itself.
