Join us for an action-packed weekend of STEAM fun, with hands-on activities, mind-blowing science shows, and interactive educational workshops suitable for all ages! This year’s Windermere Science Festival brings together leading scientists and experts. BBC’s Sky at Night presenter Chris Lintott will take audiences on a fascinating journey in search of alien life, exploring where we might find them and what they could look like. Dr. Glyn Morgan from the Science Museum will dive into how science and technology inspired Star Wars. West End performer Kerry Jay will bring the solar system to life in an interactive and fun-filled Rocket Balloon Show, sparking curiosity and imagination in young minds.
For Star Wars fans, the festival offers an opportunity to train like a Jedi in the Jedi Lightsaber School.
Visitors can also take part in a range of exciting hands-on activities. Build and launch a rocket out of recycled materials, create stunning cyanotype photography, construct your own full-sized cardboard boat to race in The Big Float on Windermere, and so much more.
