Step into the heritage beauty of Old Mill House for a magical, hands-on day of willow weaving with talented local artist Heather McDermott.
In this relaxing and creative workshop, you’ll learn to craft elegant willow swallow and swift sculptures ...beautiful pieces that add rustic charm to any garden, whether perched on a wall, nestled among borders, or gathered as a small flock. ✨
You’ll also have the chance to explore our Salley Garden and discover more about the sustainable qualities of willow... a renewable, living material deeply rooted in traditional craft. Please dress suitably for time spent outdoors. 🥾
