The Williston Police Department will host a public auction of unclaimed impounded vehicles and property on Saturday, June 13, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The event will take place at the City of Williston Police Department Impound Lot, located at 921 6th St E in Williston.Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. for registration and vehicle viewing. The auction is open to the public, and all items will be sold as-is with no warranties and no returns.
This sale is conducted pursuant to section 39-26-07 of the North Dakota Century Code (NDCC). Vehicles that have not been claimed and whose impound fees have not been paid prior to the auction will be made available for sale.
Important Auction Information:
• Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., and an ID is required at the time of registration.
• Vehicles are sold as-is, and all sales are final.
• The Williston Police Department does not guarantee the running condition of any vehicle.
• If keys are available, they will be provided by Community Service Officers (CSOs).
• All vehicles must be paid for on the day of the sale.
• Purchased vehicles must be removed from the impound lot by the specified deadline (to be announced), no later than 5:00 p.m. A $5.00 per day storage fee will be assessed after that time.
