William Patrick Library Talks Presents: A Thing So Delicate - The Hidden Voices of Scotland's Mass Concrete Viaducts.

Come and learn more about some of Scotland's 20 Victorian viaducts - Glenfinnan being the most famous!

Join novelist, short story writer and poet Moira McPartlin and retired civil engineer Colin Baird as they give a talk on their book a Thing So Delicate. This hybrid project blends history, memoir, poetry, short stories, travel writing, and photographs.

Join us as we hear more on this little known piece of Scottish railway and social history.
