About this Event
The aim of this session is to support wildlife recorders of all abilities to collect, collate and manage environmental information across Lindow Moss.
Jack will be speaking about eBird, an online database of bird observations providing scientists, researchers and amateur naturalists with real-time data about bird distribution.
Andrew will be covering over everything Inaturalist, an app that helps you identify the plants and animals around you while generating data for science and conservation.
Iona will be talking about RECORD, a wildlife conservation organisation with the role to collect and manage information on the natural environment from across Cheshire.
During the talks, We'll look at some of the exisiting data that has been recorded around Lindow Moss and there will be chance to add a recording during the talks. Therefore it is recomended that you bring a smart phone / device along with you so we can talk you through the process. There is good wifi at the Parish Hall, along with plugs if your device needs power.

Parking is paid for at £1.50 for 3 hours.
