We're delighted to announce the return of our Individual and Relay running event for Summer 2025.The aim is to complete as many laps of the 5k circuit as you can within a six or three hour time limit. You can participate as an individual or as part of a relay team of two, four or eight people.
Race HQ is at Wilmslow Rugby Club and the start/finish/changeover point will be in the grounds. The course takes in the Jim Evison Playing Fields, The Carrs, the Rugby Club fields and connecting paths/quiet roads, It's fairly flat overall with 46m of climb each lap. There's a map of the route here and the course will be signed and marshalled.
There will be a medals awarded to anyone achieving the following challeges;
Individuals
Individual Ultra - 9 laps (45k) or more in six hours or 5 laps (25k) or more in three hours
Individual Participant - Any individual completing one lap or more
Team members
Medals will be awarded to all members of teams completing the following distances
Bronze - 8 laps (40k) in six hours or 4 laps (20k) in three hours
Silver - 12 laps (60k) in six hours or 6 laps (30k) in three hours
Gold - 16 laps (80k) in six hours or 8 laps (40k) in three hours
The medals will have different ribbons depending on what challenge has been completed
We'll have water, fruit and energy snacks at the changeover point but if you have any specific requirements please bring them with you. The bar will be open and will be selling food and drink during the event. Teams and spectators can add to the great summer atmosphere by cheering their runners on as they pass the viewing area. There's plenty of space for club tents and gazebos by the viewing area overlooking the course near the start/finish/changeover point.
