New to paddleboarding or kayaking? This relaxed Greenbelt Beginner Paddle is the perfect way to learn the basics while exploring one of the most beautiful stretches of the Trinity River.
Calm water, friendly guides, and plenty of wildlife make this a great first adventure on the water.
🕗 Schedule
Meet: 3:00 PM at the 428 Access (Greenbelt)
Launch: 3:30 PM after a short beginner orientation
We’ll go over paddling basics, safety, and river navigation before we launch so everyone feels comfortable and ready to go.

The Greenbelt is full of life. Along the paddle you may spot river otters, beavers, herons, kingfishers, and soaring raptors overhead.
The river bends through shaded banks and quiet stretches that make it feel like you’re miles away from the city.

This stretch of river typically has gentle current and easy navigation, making it one of the best beginner routes in North Texas.
Just bring water, sunscreen, and a sense of adventure.
