Wildlife Identification Walk & App Workshop
About this Event
Grab your cell phone and your hiking shoes! This Fall, TennGreen invites you to join us on a morning walk to learn about the latest wildlife identification apps and digital tools.
Starting at the Warner Park Nature Center, we'll set out on an easy 2-mile hike, where we'll stop to identify, photograph, and learn about the species we encounter along the way. Whether you're a longtime birder, or brand new to nature ID technology, we'll walk through how these tools work, and how simple observations contribute towards meaningful ecological monitoring.
This is a relaxed activity designed for all ability levels. Expect an easy walking pace, stops along the route, and time to connect with fellow conservationists who care about protecting Tennessee's wild places.
This event is FREE for and $10 for non-members.
