Celebrate Wildlife Day with Us!
Bring the whole family for a wild and wonderful day celebrating our amazing local wildlife! Join Open Space staff for the Wildlife Day Celebration, a fun-filled event featuring live raptors presented by Nature's Educators, hands-on activities, games, and educational exhibits.
Learn about Colorado's important pollinators with the Butterfly Pavilion, meet the Keep It Clean Partnership, and discover how we can all help protect the habitats that local wildlife depends on.
Kids and adults alike will enjoy this exciting opportunity to connect with nature, learn about the animals that share our open spaces, and celebrate the incredible diversity of wildlife in our community.
Registration is not required. Dogs are NOT PERMITTED on Harper Lake Open Space, so please leave dogs at home for this event. The event will be held next to the Harper Lake parking lot, off of Washington Ave. Parking is limited, so please carpool or use alternative transportation if possible.
