Reconnect with nature, reset your mind
Held deep in the woods at the lovely Heartwood, Suzy is offering regular Woodland Yoga sessions this summer for those who wish to connect more deeply with nature, whilst moving and opening up their bodies with a beautiful yoga practice.
These classes are gentle, yet robust, nurturing and gently working to bring body and mind into union and balance. Suitable for anyone at any stage on the path, Suzy can tailor the sessions to the needs of the individuals attending. If you are new, we go slow, if you have an established practice you will be offered opportunities to move more deeply in your asanas. There will also be season specific pranayama (breath work) practices offered as part of the experience.

Please be aware that whilst the yoga space is on level ground, it is uneven in the way a woodland floor will be! There are both grass and woodland surfaces which we can use, so be prepared for a little dampness, and dirt (all part of the reconnection journey!) and make sure you bring a mat and equipment which you don't mind getting a little dirty.
We also recommend you bring lots of layers of clothing and a blanket or two. We anticipate some beautiful warm evenings, but some may also be a little chilly. There will be small Peace Marquee to practice under if the weather is a little wet, but if the weather is really wet or windy, we may need to cancel. We will let you know by 5pm on the day if this is likely to happen. Weather forecasting apps are often inaccurate, and we prefer to use our own common sense where weather is concerned!
We advise you join our WhatsApp group if you use it, as it is much easier to notify you of a cancelled session or any changes ahead of time. If weather looks wet on the morning of the class, we advise that you wait til 5pm before committing financially and booking your spot, however we are happy to refund or carry over any booked sessions cancelled by us.
Please bring a yoga mat and any equipment you like to use, such as blocks, bricks, belts, bolsters and blankets. (All the 'b's!) If you don't know what we mean, don't worry, we have some we can lend :)
We are a 15 minute slow bimble up a woodland track. We advise you travel light and enjoy immersing yourself in the slow woodland journey, and the chance to let go of your day on the way. Follow the signs to Heartwood places along the way, entering Heartwood at the top of the track under the white Go Wild banner.
On arrival you will be welcomed by Suzy and asked to complete an information form prior to attending if you are not already registered with Wildheart Yoga, then you can find your spot and settle in.
