Wild Waterfowl Safari - Free Children's Program (Recommended for Ages 3-5)

Join us on an adventure at McDonald Pond where little ones will learn what birds live in the water, and how water helps them survive!
About this Event

Share the joy of birding with your little ones with an introduction of birds who live and thrive by the water! In this safari-style adventure, we'll learn about why birds need and use water to survive!

We will meet in the parking lot of Field 3 of Hempstead Lake State Park. See yellow circle on the map below.

This program is free to attend. Please note that there is an $8 vehicle fee in effect.

Reservations are required for all programs, each child needs their own ticket. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Please dress for the weather, and close toed shoes are required as we will be walking outside.
