Join me Katie Flowers for a guided Art Offsite! We will be travelling to a magical site in Hong Kong: Kadoorie Farm and Botanical Gardens to explore the Lower Farm and create some response art along the way in the form of our own Art Installations as well as a one page Nature Journal. Who is Katie Flowers ?
Katie is a registered Art Therapist who holds an MA in Art and Nature Studies and has been leading events at Nature Sites in HK including the farm since the 90's.
Her area of passion is the way in which Nature calls us to pay Fine Focussed Attention if we allow our senses to lead the way. Her abiding belief is that if we recognise that we ARE Nature and not just observers we build and grow our own wisdom within.
You will be guided to do just that and to respond to the metaphors that Nature always has in store for us.
Kadoorie Farm Wild Day Out Schedule
Friday April 24th 2026
8.00 am - 9.00 the bus ( provided ) Central, Pier 4
9.30 - 10.30 explore the lower farm and the stream
10.30 -11.30 your installation
11.30 -12.30 sketchbooks
packed lunch
1.30- 3.00 sketchbooks
3.00 sharing
3.30 -4.30 the bus ( provided) Central, Pier 4
You will be collected ny minibus at Central ferry pier 4 at 8.30am and delivered back there by 4.00pm
Cost $1,400 inc all art materials, map, transport, guidance
