The Book Garden & Eco Hub Aber Present
'Wild Things' Nature Book Club 🌿
Hello Wild Things!
Welcome to 'Wild Things' Nature Book Club, a monthly gathering for bookish nature-lovers.
We read a new nature book every month, from novels and poetry to sci-fi, non-fiction, and folklore.
You can also get involved in nature projects with Eco Hub Aber! 🌿
This month's book is Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer
A hymn of love to the natural world. Written by Robin Wall Kimmerer, botanist and member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, she shows how other living beings - asters and goldenrod, strawberries and squash, salamanders, algae, and sweetgrass - offer us gifts and lessons, even if we've forgotten how to hear their voices.
“A Hymn of Love to the World”
― Elizabeth Gilbert
Next Meeting: June 25th 7-9pm @ The Book Garden, downstairs at 7 Market Street, Aberystwyth, SY23 1DL
To join the book club - get your copy of the book from The Book Garden or Eco Hub Aber, or email us at [email protected] to be added to the list.
