Journey: Wild Stillness Bali is an invitation to meet Bali through the lived experience of nature, culture, art and presence — a journey shaped not by how much you see, but by how deeply you listen, feel, and engage with the land and its rhythms.
This five-day immersion in Ubud is an invitation to slow down and meet Bali through art, culture, nature, and presence. Over our time together, we’ll move between immersive experiences and quiet reflection — weaving together traditional Balinese practices with gentle creative exploration.
Our days will include hands-on workshops such as a traditional Balinese cooking class, a silver jewellery-making experience, and learning to create everyday offerings, alongside time spent working in mixed media journals, exploring natural mark-making, and responding creatively to the land and culture around us. We’ll also share moments of stillness by the river, in gardens, and within the rhythms of daily Balinese life.

This five-day journey is grounded in mindfulness through nature, creativity, and embodied practice. It is suitable for anyone with an interest in slowing down and re-connecting with self and nature. Therapists, wellbeing practitioners, educators and school leaders will find the experiences offered throughout the retreat translate naturally into classroom, wellbeing, and whole-school contexts, particularly where mindfulness, wellbeing, creativity, or nature-based learning are part of your professional practice.
Nothing here is about being “good at” art or mindfulness.
It’s about allowing creativity to arise through place, making, and meaningful experience — and letting Bali gently shape the journey from the inside out.
