Wild Ramble - Birmingham Canal & Walkway

Come along for a gentle, 10k walk along Birmingham’s canals, reservoir and walkways. Optional coffee stop to finish. This is a point-to-point walk, starting in the city centre and finishing in Harborne.

Getting there: 

This hike is accessible by public transport to the city centre of Birmingham. Full details will be shared with attendees.

This route includes:

·       Approx 2 hours moving time – please be flexible with end timings!

·       Start and end accessible via public transport

·        Mostly flat, paved routes

What to Bring:

·         Sturdy shoes or hiking boot

·         Waterproof clothing / layers

·         Water & snacks 

What are Wild Rambles?

Wild Rambles are a part of the Wild Roots offering. These are mixed hikes, open to all. Wild Ramble events may range from 5k walks to longer, more challenging hikes. Our focus is on walking, enjoying nature and connecting with others. Open to all ages but any under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.

We are committed to holding an affirming space, particularly for those with marginalised identities including African/ Black and people of colour, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent and disabled folks.
