Wild Purpose Cross-generational Connection Walk, Brighton Beach

Whatever the weather, we love to enjoy the beach 🏖️

We're running a collection of five free walks across the City in 2026. This one is at the beach!

The aim of the walks are for residents to connect with others from a different generation (open to anyone aged 18+), walk side by side, share stories and swap perspectives.

These walks will help to:

✨ Boost your wellbeing

✨ Meet new people

✨ Break routine

✨ Build real intergenerational community

The walks will be facilitated by Wild Purpose CIC Ambassadors. For each walk, all attendees will be invited to walk, chat and share a cup of tea at the end of the walk.

We encourage you to sign up for as many as the walks as you can :)

This project is funded by Brighton and Hove City Council, thanks to grant funding from Active Travel England.

📍 Starting point: Entrance to Brighton Pier

🕙 Arrive by 12 noon for an 12:10 AM start

🕐 Duration: Approximately 1 hour (including a cuppa)

🏁 Finishing Line: The Reading Room, Maderia Drive, BN2
