Learn how to identify edible tree foods and harvest some of the bounty from our local trees this fall season!
About this Event

Come learn what fall foods we can eat directly from the land!

Join us for the joyous seasonal tradition of foraging for the nuts that fall from trees during this time of year. We'll be focusing on oaks and hickory trees, collecting their nuts for processing at our Wild Harvest Pancake Breakfast taking place next month.

Come to learn tree identification skills and how to process the nuts that we forage into future food!

This event is free and open to people of all ages. It will involve walking for about an hour at a slow pace over grassy, mostly flat terrain.
