About this Event
About This Event
Step into a slower rhythm with Wild Bloom Poetry in the Park, a thoughtfully curated outdoor writing experience produced by Bloom by Stella and rooted in the community-centered mission of Wild Bloom Poetry.
Set along the New River Landing at Huizenga Park, this gathering invites participants to reconnect with creativity through nature, reflection, and generative writing.
Blending mindfulness and poetic exploration, this experience is designed to feel like a sanctuary. A space to arrive as you are, breathe deeply, and create without pressure.
Whether you are a seasoned writer or simply curious, all levels are welcome.
What to Expect
Each session follows with a guided creative framework developed to support reflection, emotional expression, and community connection through poetry.
- Opening: We begin with a grounding meditation and/or poem to settle into the space and attune to the natural surroundings.
- Generative Writing + Optional Nature Walk Reflection: Participants receive thoughtfully designed prompts and materials before taking a slow, mindful walk through the park to observe, write, and reflect.
- Optional Community Share: We close with an open, supportive exchange where participants may share a few lines or insights from their writing experience. Sharing is always invitational, never required.

Hi, I’m Stella Amador, founder of Bloom by Stella, poet, and author.
I created Wild Bloom Poetry as an extension of my work, a community-centered poetry and artistic platform dedicated to making poetry accessible, communal, and alive in everyday spaces, with an emphasis on presence over performance.
My mission is to uplift local artists, inspire community members to find their voice, and build authentic bridges to our shared humanity through creative expression.
I curate a variety of arts activations throughout South Florida, including:
- Jazz and Poetry Open Mics
- Generative Writing Workshops
- Immersive Art Experiences
Through workshops, public programming, and literary events, Bloom by Stella creates intentional spaces that blend writing, reflection, nature, and community connection.
Wild Bloom Poetry Open Mic and Wild Bloom Poetry in the Park are both part of this broader mission to cultivate creativity, belonging, and self-expression through the written word.
