Wildeye Adventures in collaboration with Astronomy Adventures presents an exciting and unique opportunity for adults & children 6+ years.If you're a star gazer, sky watcher or are passionate about space and astronomy. This is an event not to be missed 💫
An evening spent gazing into night skies learning about space, stars, galaxies and planets. With the chance to observe various celestial objects in outer space using high-tech telescopes 🪐
You'll be based in an open field on private land in Sevenoaks
DATE: 6th December 2024
TIME: 6pm to 12pm (midnight)
Repeats on Saturday: 7th December 2024
We are running this evening on two separate nights Friday and the again Saturday. With the option of camping overnight until morning time (for an extra fee) If you don't fancy the travel back home late at night.
You are not required to stay until midnight. You can depart when you've got your own personal dose of space viewing ⭐
December night skies offer a range of celestial objects to observe and telescopic viewing is best done on darker, clearer skies. Winter night skies offer this.
This is a night time event, bring torches / lamps with you and camp chairs or rugs to sit on. There will be a communal bonfire to gather around to keep warm, burning throughout the evening 🔥
Take part in an on site raffle (£1 per raffle ticket) with the chance to win different space goodies for both children & adults.
Remember that telescopic viewing and observing planets in outer space requires adaptability and pateince. It is best done with darker, clearer night skies. So we'll be keeping an eye on weather conditions leading up to the event and keeping in close contact with all interested guests. We have a plan B.
