As people of religious faith or no faith are trying to get their bearings in the current environment, communities of faith need to be spaces of authentic conversation and truth. Conversations on Race (COR) is pleased to sponsor an afternoon presentation and conversation about religious communities' role - led by The Rev. Dr. Carter Heyward on "White Christian Nationalism: Why We Need to Talk About It." Dr. Heyward, a frequent, in-demand guest speaker, panelist and workshop leader, is an Episcopal priest, professor, theologian, activist, and writer with earned degrees from Randolph-Macon Women's College (A.B., Religion); Columbia University (M.A., Comparative Study of Religion); Union Theological Seminary (M.Div., and Ph.D., Systematic Theology).
