White Cane 5K – Kalamazoo MI

Join us for the White Cane 5K a community run/walk dedicated to raising awareness about blindness and low vision while celebrating independence safety and inclusion. Hosted by MidWest Enterprises for the Blind (MWEB) and the Western Michigan University Department of Blindness and Low Vision Studies the event brings together residents students businesses and leaders in support of accessibility and opportunity for all.

Proceeds from the White Cane 5K directly benefit the White Cane 5K Project helping to provide white canes and expand education and advocacy for the blind and visually impaired community. The event highlights Kalamazoo as one of the most blind-friendly cities in the nation and honors White Cane Safety Day which recognizes the rights and achievements of people with vision loss.
