The Edison Neighborhood Association (ENA) in conjunction with Blackmagic Media and Kalamazoo Poetry Festival invite you to the Autumn Washington Avenue Arts & Culture Crawl (WAACC), a free arts and culture festival this Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 12 PM to 5 PM. This exciting free event will celebrate community, creativity, and culture in the heart of Edison Neighborhood, Kalamazoo’s burgeoning arts district.Enjoy a sequence of live performances by local musicians and poets, artist showcases, and interactive activities. Kicking off at Dormouse Theatre at 12 pm and ending at the empty lot at the intersection of Washington and Cameron around 5pm, WAACC guides residents through the neighborhood with free arts activities along the way.
WAACC will include over 10 local poets curated by Kalamazoo Poetry Festival, 4 musical performances selected by long-time partners, Black Magic Media, and live art by various visual artists spanning a 1 mile stretch of the Edison Neighborhood.
Come out and support local artists, discover new talent, and connect with the community. This event promises to be a memorable experience for all ages. So grab a light jacket, and hit the streets for Washington Avenue Arts & Culture Crawl, October 11th 12pm starting at Dormouse Theatre!
