Please meet at Pohutukawa Reserve beach accessway.
Join the Coastcare team and Whiritoa Beach Care group for a morning of planting native plants in the BACK dunes, north of Pohutukawa Reserve.
Look for the Coastcare flags!
Holes will mostly be done with an auger prior to planting.
Come along and lend a hand in the sand, followed by a hot cuppa and a bickie.
What to bring:
- Please wear covered footwear, bring warm clothes & rain jacket.
- Bring own water bottle.
- Planting equipment will be provided but feel free to bring your favourite gloves if you like.
- Gather a few friends or family members to come along!
Morning tea will be provided.
