CORO - AON Patrol Captain Course

The Aon Patrol Captain Course will prepare experienced senior Surf Lifeguards to lead and manage routine and non-routine surf lifesaving situations including managing patrols, incidents, rescues and actively manage the health, safety and wellbeing of all patrol members. The course focusses on building skills and knowledge related to leadership, resource management, decision making and compliance with National and Club requirements.
Prerequisites:
Current member of a SLS club
18 years of age on the day training commences
Surf Lifeguard Award (Refreshed) or Patrol Support Award (Refreshed) having already held a Surf Lifeguard Award.
Surf First Aid (Refreshed)
Vice Patrol Captain Award (Online Modules)
Min 2 season's active patrolling experience
Note: For those members already in Vice Patrol Captain roles, they can apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL).
Training Information:
Complete 6 Online Pre-Learning Modules
Attend Aon Patrol Captains Course (1 day)
To register: please ask your club admin to register you via the course instance.
