This special Saturday event is a scenic 17km circular hike in the Yorkshire Dales, combining time in nature with relaxed professional networking.
Led by Michael Di Paola from Freshwalks , the route begins at Ribblehead Station and climbs to Whernside, the highest of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Expect stunning views, peaceful trails, and great conversation with like-minded individuals.
10:15 – Meet at Ribblehead Station
10:30 – Walk starts
13:00 – Picnic lunch at the summit of Whernside (please bring your own food)
15:00 – Stop for refreshments at The Old Hill Inn, Chapel-le-Dale
16:30 – Finish at The Station Inn
Parking Available at The Station Inn, along Low Sleights Road (B6255), and at the station.
Public Transport: Take the 08:15 Yorkshire Dales Explorer from Manchester Victoria (arrives 10:19). Return train departs Ribblehead at 18:05.
Toilets: Available at the visitor centre and The Old Hill Inn.
Post-walk: Tables reserved at The Station Inn for a pre-ordered meal and social time before departure.
