Future Ready Leadership in the Nature Era - where AI meets the Nature Economy. Join us for a unique leadership experience in Oxford, exploring the future of leadership in a world shaped by nature, biodiversity and global change.
The Future Leadership Lab brings together students, emerging leaders and changemakers from around the world for an immersive programme exploring the ideas, skills and networks shaping the nature-positive economy.
This immersive leadership lab explores what it means to be future ready in the Nature Era. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute towards a whitepaper, exploring future- ready leadership and the nature economy.
2 Day Summmer School covering everything to do with biodiversity and the 30 x 30 concept. This is an international Global Biodiversity Framework initiative supported by the United Nations and Defra and many others.
Participant Ticket Price: £500.00 per person covering full course costs included. (Excluding accomodation and transport).

Over the course of the week, participants will explore:
• The global 30x30 biodiversity movement
• Leadership for the nature-positive economy
• Systems thinking and future-ready leadership
• Biodiversity and nature restoration
• Green finance and the future of sustainable investment
• Governance, ethics and global environmental policy
• Innovation and emerging opportunities in the sustainability sector
This is a multidisciplinary programme bringing together perspectives from economics, policy, finance, business and environmental leadership.
A Hands-On Leadership Experience
The programme combines:
• expert lectures and keynotes
• interactive workshops and group dialogue
• audience presentations
• collaborative learning with an international cohort
Participants will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas towards a Future Leadership White Paper exploring the leadership needed for the Nature Era.

Course Director
The programme is led by Nicky O’Malley, Founder of Nature’s Voice and CEO of 30x30 UK, the national initiative supporting the global goal to protect and restore 30% of land and sea for nature by 2030.
Nicky works with founders, businesses, policymakers and global organisations navigating the future of leadership in the Nature Era.
Location
The programme is planned to be held at the H B Allen Centre, part of Keble College, Oxford, one of the world’s most historic and inspiring academic environments.
Participants will also enjoy:
• guided introductions to Oxford
• walking tours of the city
• field visits exploring biodiversity and nature restoration.
Certification
Participants completing the programme will receive a Future Leadership Lab Certificate.
The course is also suitable for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

If you wish to write, we are a publishers and we have the worlds leading green academic journal, and some magazines and a host of books, and you may also have the opportunity to learn how to publish your work.
Requirements
This programme is designed for students and early-career individuals who want to actively shape their future within the context of global environmental and societal change.
No prior technical background is required. However, participants should demonstrate:
- A strong interest in leadership, sustainability, business, policy or environmental change
- Curiosity about the future of the economy and the role of nature within it
- A proactive mindset and openness to new perspectives
- Willingness to engage fully in both discussion-based and experiential learning
Nicky O’Malley is a leading voice in nature, leadership and systems change.
As CEO of 30x30 UK, the national initiative supporting the protection and restoration of 30% of land and sea by 2030, she works with businesses, policymakers and organisations shaping the UK’s nature-positive transition. She is also the Founder of Nature’s Voice, a leadership advisory platform exploring how nature can be brought into decision-making at every level of society.
Her work spans major national campaigns including Save Our Wild Isles and The People’s Plan for Nature, alongside contributions to conversations around the Global Biodiversity Framework, natural capital and the future of nature finance.
Known for bridging strategy with deeper insight, Nicky works with leaders navigating complexity -supporting them to think systemically, act decisively and lead in a way that is both impactful and grounded.
Through the Future Leadership Lab, she brings this work to the next generation - equipping emerging leaders with the perspective, confidence and clarity needed to shape the future.

This programme forms part of the wider GEI Summer School, organised by the Green Economics Institute, which is the sole contractual partner for participants.
The course content is developed and delivered by Nature’s Voice and Nicky O’Malley (CEO, 30x30 UK).

Your place is confirmed once registration is completed and the participation fee has been paid in full.
Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The fee covers the programme only.
Accommodation, meals, travel, and personal expenses are not included and must be arranged independently.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Fees will only be refunded if the programme is cancelled by the organiser.
No refunds are provided if a participant cancels, withdraws, or does not attend.
