Whenever We Cross! Comics Exhibition
“Borders” is a word that can stop you in your tracks. It can hold you back, pinpoint your location, or separate you from where you hope to go next.
But what do borders really mean? Are they lines drawn on a map, invisible walls we build around ourselves, or something else entirely? Who creates them? Do they protect us, or push us further apart?
In this exhibition, organized by Mazg for Culture and Arts, and held in collaboration with Fundación Al Fanar from Spain, we invited Arab and Spanish artists to draw, question, and transcend borders—geographical, temporal, social, and the very boundaries of reality itself.
Through comics, they tell stories shaped by the many meanings borders hold and explore the lines that define and divide us—perhaps even inviting us to cross them.
Attendance is free, we'll see you there!
