About the speaker: Aged 72, Tan Teng Boo is highly regarded as an avid investor, entrepreneur and a fund manager with deep seeded values of integrity. He has the perspective and knowledge required to navigate volatile markets and uncertain economic conditions. His fascination with investing has led him to acquire an uncanny insight into the workings of corporations, equity markets and economies. He is an Adjunct Professor at University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He has also been appointed as a Fellow of UTS Business School.

Having a "fanatic's" interest has enabled him to be very familiar with the di?erent methods of investment analysis and approaches - understanding their strengths and weaknesses and suitability of each to different investment objectives and circumstances. As a result, Teng Boo has the unique ability to blend his investing skills with his business experiences. As Warren Bu?ett said, "It's been awfully good to have a foot in both camps.” The funds managed by him have generated superior performance.

Teng Boo is licenced in his personal capacity as a fund manager in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Australia and he manages both local and global funds under Capital Dynamics. He graduated with an honours degree in Social Sciences, majoring in Economics from Sussex University, UK.
