In this duo performance, prepared guitars become laboratories for sound, movement, and time. Drawing on his background as an improviser, experimentalist, sound artist, and luthier, Adam Neutron extends and deconstructs the guitar, transforming it through alternative constructions, fretless and microtonal designs, and unorthodox playing methods. 

Alongside him, Hong Kong–based jazz guitarist and composer Michael Chan brings a cross-disciplinary practice—shaped by tonal improvisation, electronics, and object-based improvisation—to a table of instruments and devices, where gesture and movement shape evolving sonic textures. Together, they improvise at the edge of structure and chance: strings scraped, muted, and prepared; loops fractured and reassembled; a conversation in which jazz sensibility, experimental lutherie, and performance art collide in real time.
