About this Event
AISL Foundation Education Dialogue is a programme initiated by the AISL Foundation to foster meaningful conversations with globally recognised thought leaders.
For Education Dialogue on Wednesday 25 March 2026, HKT 12.00 nn, we are honoured to present Professor Jay Siegel, Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Teaching and Learning), The University of Hong Kong.
Topic: Agency and Voice
The topic focuses on how young people build the confidence, independence, and expressive capacity they need to thrive in a globalised world. The talk will highlight how HKU actively nurtures these qualities through its teaching philosophy, learning environment, and diverse student experiences. It will also address how AI and emerging technologies are transforming education, reshaping how students learn, think, communicate, and make decisions. HKU integrates digital literacy, ethical AI awareness, and technology‑enhanced learning into its curriculum, empowering students not only to use new tools effectively, but also to develop the judgment, creativity, and critical perspectives needed to navigate an AI‑driven future with agency and a strong, authentic voice.
Views and opinions of speakers do not refelct the view or opinion of Asia International School Limited (AISL), AISL Foundation, and AISL Harrow Schools in any manner.
