Wheels & Reels - GOAT

Wheels & Reels rolls into Liberty Park on Friday, August 28, 2026, for a fun-filled evening that combines outdoor roller skating with a family-friendly movie under the stars. This new collaborative event series brings together Roller Skating Night, hosted by Parks & Recreation, and Mooresville Movie Nights, presented by the Experience & Engagement Department.
Roller skating begins at 6 p.m., giving guests plenty of time to skate, enjoy music, and spend time with family and friends. Food trucks open at 7:30 p.m., followed by a screening of GOAT at 8:30 p.m.
Admission is free. Participants must bring their own roller skates and are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for a comfortable movie-viewing experience. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages; however, outside alcohol is prohibited. Parking is available throughout Downtown, with a portion of the Liberty Park parking lot reserved as accessible parking.
