In this series of Wheel of the Year workshops, we'll take inspiration from the changing seasons and pagan traditions to create new writing.
No beliefs necessary, just a willingness to reflect on the time of year and to experiment with creative modes of expression.
Mabon is a modern pagan holiday celebrating the autumn equinox, a moment of equal day and night that usually falls between September 21 and 24. Often called the second or mid-harvest festival, it marks a time for gratitude, reflection, and preparation for winter.
Beverley Ward is the founder of The Writers Workshop, an author, facilitator and coach. She's by no means an expert on ancient rituals but is interested in how we connect with the seasons. to inspire wellbeing and creativity.
