A fun introduction to using the potter’s wheel to create basic functional forms like cups, bowls and small plates. Through instructor demonstrations and hands on coaching, you will learn about wedging, centering clay on the wheel, pulling walls, decorating techniques and various other throwing skills. You
will also learn about the firing process, how to properly and safely glaze your work.
No experience necessary, just a willingness to work, have fun and support other class members.
Course enrollment includes: clay, tools, glazes, firings and studio use.
A 6 week course. Mondays 5:30 to 8:30 PM
