Join the League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County for “What’s Happening in Palm Beach County Schools,” presented by Michael Burke, Superintendent of Palm Beach County Schools.
As Superintendent of the A-rated School District of Palm Beach County, Mr. Burke is passionate about ensuring academic excellence and paving the way to post-graduate success for the District’s more than 170,000 students attending 183 district-operated schools.
He is deeply committed to the School Board’s mission to educate, affirm and inspire each student in an equity-embedded school system. As Superintendent of the tenth-largest school district in the nation, Mr. Burke also oversees Palm Beach County’s largest workforce, with nearly 23,000 employees.
