What Will The Women Drink Fundraiser - Vertical Tasting, Barrel Tasting, and AuctionWe’re doing it all! Join us for a one-of-a-kind event as we celebrate the 5th vintage of What Will The Women Drink, one of our most sought-after (and rare) wines (and recently voted “Best Wine in Loudoun County!”).
This event will be jam-packed. We’ll start as Sarah Walsh leads us through a vertical tasting of past vintages of WWTWD, including the just-released 2022, explaining the history of the wine, our goals with blending, and how it has been aging. Vertical tastings are great opportunities to view wines through the lens of time – how do vintages compare, and how does the weather effect the wine?
After, our production team will present sneak-peak barrel samples of the 2024 lots we plan to utilize in the future. While still developing, these wines will give a sense of what is to come. It’s always fun to taste the unfinished pieces.
Finally, and most importantly, the event will include a silent auction fundraiser for Women Giving Back, a Loudoun non-profit supporting women and children in need, including a 9 liter bottle of 2021 What Will the Women Drink (that’s a full case). 100% of the proceeds of the auction will go this great cause.
The event starts at 6:30, includes lite fare, and is 21+ only. You must be a WWS, or a friend of a member, to attend.
$80 / person. Tickets will be limited to ensure a comfortable and intimate event.
