Gideon once had a family, home, and close relationship with his daughter Faith. The film unfolds in two parallel timelines: the present, where Gideon battles the daily challenges of homelessness in the early days of the pandemic, and the past, which traces his gradual fall from a hopeful father to the isolated person he has become. In the present, Gideon forms an unlikely bond with Navleen, a woman facing her own struggles while living out of her car.
